The trial of Suzi Taylor (real name Suellen Jan Taylor) and her co-defendant Ali Ebrahimi has been delayed.
The jury in the trial of a former block star and her co-defendants, who are accused of holding and blackmailing a man against his will, was dismissed after a lawyer was injured.
Suzi Taylor, real name Suellen Jan Taylor, and Ali Ebrahimi pleaded guilty not to a number of charges, including extortion, assault and fraud, in Brisbane District Court on Monday over an October 2019 incident.

The jury was dismissed a few hours after the implementation after Mr Ebrahimi’s defense attorney, Peter Nolan, had an accident in court.

A QAS spokesman said the man was taken to St. Andrews Hospital in stable condition after falling.
Judge Suzanne Sheridan dismissed the jury and rerun the trial for Tuesday.
Another jury must be convened.
