Wilson Christian Academy sophomore Seth Trull got his cross-country season winning start last week, making him the Farris & Thomas Law Attorneys Student-Athlete of the Week.
Seth, who won the North Carolina Christian School Association boys championship last year, started this season by winning the Chargers’ first meet Tuesday, Sept. 8, at Grace Christian in Sanford. Seth finished the 5-kilometer course in 19 minutes, 38 seconds to help the Chargers win the meet.
The son of Tara and Brian Trull of Zebulon, Seth has a 3.68 GPA at Wilson Christian, where he takes all honors courses, including elective basic law. Seth also plays basketball and runs track for the Chargers.
He is active at The Passage Church in Wendell and has worked at Peace Church camp in the summer. Seth also has competed in meets outside of WCA through Precision Timing race group.
