Former FCC Lawyer and Privacy Counsel Madeleine V. Findley Joins Jenner & Block as Partner in Washington, DC

During her tenure at the FCC, Ms. Findley advised on a portfolio of competitive issues including network connectivity, broadband delivery, merger testing and VoIP services. Before joining the FCC, she worked in private practice, advising providers of wired, wireless, over-the-top and cloud services. Submarine cable systems; and broadband internet access provider on the topics of communication, data protection, cybersecurity, merger review as well as national and international regulatory strategy and compliance before federal authorities and courts.

Ms. Findley joins the company after working as a US privacy advisor for a multinational medical device manufacturer. Ms. Findley was the legal advisor to a global privacy program focused on Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and the reporting of privacy violations laws. This included program creation and implementation, data protection planning and the response to data protection incidents. She also supported cross-functional shared services and acted as strategic advisor to commercial law teams and government affairs.

Mrs. Findley completed the University of Michigan with an MPP from the Ford School of Public Policy and earned a JD from the University of Michigan Law Faculty. She received a BA in History from Yale University.
