As President Donald Trump prepares for his final day at the White House, a former Trump attorney stands ready to do his part to protect Trump from the destruction of “American democracy”.
On Friday, Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen tweeted that he had been asked and had agreed to testify about “the wrongdoing” of Trump and his family.
“I have been asked and agreed to work with multiple government agencies to testify of the wrongdoing by #Trump and the #TrumpFamily,” Cohen tweeted. “I’m doing this in large part because #Trump and his family tried, and luckily, failed to destroy America’s democracy.”

Cohen tweeted after it became known that Twitter permanently banned the president “because of the risk of further incitement to violence” two days after a violent riot in the US Capitol.
Cohen also commented on Twitter, which is banning Trump from his social platform.
“Know that #Trump relies on @Twitter to exist just as we need oxygen to breathe. He’s just losing his marbles!”
