Giuliani's lawyer says he has hard drive with Hunter Biden texts, emails, videos of 'compromising positions'

An attorney for President Trump's personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, told Fox News on Wednesday that he received a hard drive containing around 40,000 emails, thousands of text messages, and photos and videos of Hunter Biden – the son of former Vice President Joe Biden " very compromising positions. "

Attorney Robert Costello confirmed the explosive revelations, first reported by the New York Post, that an Apple MacBook Pro allegedly owned by the younger Biden was disassembled and an external hard drive was handed over to the FBI in December – after the computer repair shop The owner in Biden's home state of Delaware notified federal investigators of its existence.

The Post reported that the broken laptop was dropped off in April 2019, but no one returned to pick it up or pay the bill. It was unclear who dropped the laptop.

Costello said the laptop was inoperable, but it remained unclear whether the FBI accessed the contents – and whether it was still there. However, he underlined that he had a copy of the hard drive containing tens of thousands of potentially harmful correspondence related to Hunter Biden's business in Ukraine, including his high-profile father.

The FBI did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.

TRUMP AIMS HUNTER BIDEN'S FOREIGN TRADE DURING THE HEATABLE DEBATE CLASS

On the deluge of documents allegedly received from Giuliani and Costello: sexually explicit photos and recordings of Hunter Biden, as well as email correspondence from May 2014 that apparently showed the son his father – then the vice-president – a Ukrainian Introduced businessman and burisma advisor despite a cloud of ethical concerns.

The email appeared to contradict claims made by Joe Biden, who claimed that he "never spoke to (his) son about (his) business abroad".

Over the past year, Hunter Biden's overseas operations have generated increased questions and concerns. Trump repeatedly claimed that Joe Biden crossed the corruption lines in handling matters in Ukraine, given that his son held a well-compensated position on the board of directors of Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings from 2014 to 2019.

Results of an investigation by the Senate Intelligence Committee published last month even suggested that Hunter Biden was engaged in "potential criminal activity" in financial transactions between "Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh and Chinese nationals".

George Mesires, a lawyer for Hunter Biden, declined to comment on the details of the documents, instead pointing out that former New York City Mayor Giuliani had long promoted and disseminated "conspiracy theories" against his client, the Post reported.

Mesires did not immediately respond to an email request for further comments.
