Top Feuer deputy who worked on LADWP settlement quits city attorney’s office

A key member of City Atty. Mike Feuer's senior management team, who helped oversee the controversial settlement of a class action lawsuit filed by customers of the Department of Water and Energy in Los Angeles, has resigned.

Chief Deputy Atty. Jim Clark left August. 31, said Rob Wilcox, prosecutor's spokesman.

Since joining the prosecutor in 2013, Clark has overseen several high profile cases, including a lawsuit against banking giant Wells Fargo and a sexual harassment lawsuit against Los Angeles City Councilor Jose Huizar.

In an interview on Friday, Clark said he stopped mediating. He also said he was unable to work with others in prosecution during the pandemic and missed this element of his job.
