This is the first picture of a 17-year-old aspiring lawyer who was stabbed to death outside a tube station in northwest London.
Jamalie Maleek Deacon Matthew was found with stab wounds around 3:00 p.m. Thursday near Northwick Park in Harrow.
The teenager was given first aid by police officers before the paramedics arrived.
Detective officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command said Jamalie’s next of kin had been briefed.
In a statement, his Harrow family said they were “deeply saddened and deeply devastated”.
They added, “We all knew of his ambitions to study law, and it still feels so surreal to grapple with the tragedy that happened.
“We ask the public to pass on information about this incident.”
Detective Chief Inspector Jane Topping said, “I encourage anyone who witnessed the moments before Jamalie’s murder or the sting to come forward and speak to us.
“A young man lost his life in the most tragic and unnecessary circumstances. His and his family’s future was taken from them.
“I need to hear from everyone who was in the area at the time. I’m sure someone has this information to help us track down the person responsible. Please do the right thing and get in touch. ”
There have been no arrests and the investigation continues.
Anyone with information, videos, or pictures that might help is asked to call the police incident room on 020 8358 0100 or 101 using the reference number Cad 4735 / 12Nov or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
