According to the lawsuit, Mountian F. Enterprises, Inc. allegedly (a) did not pay minimum wages, (b) did not pay overtime wages, (c) did not provide statutory meal and rest hours, (d) did not provide an accurate breakdown of wage statements, ( e) do not reimburse employees for necessary business expenses and (f) do not submit wages when due, all in violation of the applicable sections of the Labor Code listed in sections of the Labor Code §§ 201, 202, 203, 226, 226.7, 510, 512, 1194, 1197, 1197.1, 2802 and the applicable wage ordinance (s) and thereby leads to civil penalties as a result of such alleged behavior.
Cal. Laboratory. The code § 226 provides that “every employer provides each of his employees with an exact, detailed pay slip in writing, from which it emerges … how much working time is worked at each hourly rate”. From time to time DEFENDANT allegedly failed to provide pay slips to employees who identified the correct gross and net wages, which resulted in DEFENDANT allegedly violating Cal. Laboratory. Code § 226.
