A three year old storm brewing between sandals and some people used to walking their dogs on Maxwell Beach is in the air again.
And Lalu Hanuman, one of the original parties, is asking a high court not only to find that the then-general manager of the hotel defamed him in another part of the media, but also to state that the public has the right to go to that part of the Beach to go controlled by the hotel.
The matter came from a 2018 Hanover Christuman residing in Dover, Christ Church, who was with the hotel’s security guards, one of whom he said was armed with a baton when he was on the beach with his three dogs walked.
At the time, he said the hotel’s management prevented those who normally walk their dogs on Christ Church Beach from doing what he described as an attempt to restrict public access to the track. (HLE)
