RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – May 2, 2021): Punjab Justice Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja said Sunday that the legal community had played a key role in restoring democracy in the country.
Speaking to representatives of the Lahore Supreme Court Bar Association, the District Bar Association and the All Rawalpindi Bar Association at Punjab House Rawalpindi, he said that attorneys have always played an active role in bringing justice to the oppressed and serving the oppressed as well Legal community was prominent for the protection of human rights.
He said Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar was aware of the plight of the lawyers. Raja said funds would also be made available for the Rawalpindi lawyer hospital under construction.
He said space was also earmarked for Rawalpindi bar associations.
On this occasion, the Punjab government provided Rs. four million for Lahore High Court Bar, Rs. four million for District Bar Association Rawalpindi and Rs. one million each for Tehsil Bars. President of the Bar Association of the Supreme Court, Sardar Abdul Razzaq Additional Secretary Roma Qureshi Secretary General Shahid Shehzad Bhatti President of the District Bar Association Rizwan Akhtar Awan President of the Tehsil Bar Association Gujjar Khan Shahid Shehzad Kayani President of the Tehsil Barer Tehzad Kayani President of the Tehsil Barer Tehzad Kayani President of the President of the Tehsil Barer Tehsil Tanasi Bar Association Kalar Syedan Adnan Chaudhry received the checks.
On this occasion they thanked Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar and Punjab Justice Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja for granting grants and examining questions from lawyers.
