HILLSBORO, OR (KPTV) – A man from Forest Grove has been sentenced to more than 12 years in prison for sexually abusing two girls, according to the Washington District Attorney’s Office.

Todd Alan Ott pleaded guilty on Friday to two cases of second degree sodomy, two cases of third degree sodomy, two cases of unlawful second degree sexual penetration, six cases of first degree sexual abuse and two cases of second degree sexual abuse sexual abuse.

One of the two victims in September last year announced that Ott had regularly mistreated her for a period of six months, starting when she was 13, according to the law firm. The girl reported that her family had lived with Ott in Forest Grove and that her parents may have known about the abuse and continued it. The victims’ parents were also arrested and charged with abuse and neglect.

A second victim also reported abuse when she was 11 years old and lived with Ott.

According to the law firm, an acquaintance of Ott reported that Ott had bragged about sexually abusing a young girl in 2015.

At the hearing, victims told Ott that according to the law firm, they would not allow his abuse to define them or prevent them from achieving their goals. Ott is transferred to the Oregon Department of Corrections to serve his sentence.
