Regina lawyer charged with obstruction of justice

REGINA – A Regina attorney faces obstruction of the prosecution following an investigation into alleged improper disclosure of information affecting a police investigation.

The Regina Police Service announced that the alleged crime took place in Regina on October 21, 2019.

Police have charged Sharon Fox, 37, with disability. “She deliberately tried to obstruct, pervert or defeat the legal process by interfering with an ongoing police investigation.”

According to the firm’s website, Fox works for Nychuk and Company in both civil and criminal law.

She will appear before the provincial court for the first time on September 22, 2021.

Police said the case that was allegedly concerned has not yet been closed in court, so no further details are being released at this time.
